First session
Sixty minutes, mostly you talking, and me working out what is actually going on — which is often not what you booked about.
One line is enough. You do not have to explain why first.
Who it is for
Anyone. You do not need a referral, a diagnosis, a reason you can articulate, or your club's knowledge.
What happens
- You talkFor most of it. There is no form to complete first and no history to recite in order.
- I ask about the ninety secondsBefore the moment it goes wrong. That is usually where the answer is.
- We decide together whether to continueIncluding the option that you do not need to, which happens perhaps one time in ten.
What it is not
It is not an assessment and there is no report at the end of it. If you want a written formulation you can have one, but it belongs to you and it goes to nobody else.
Sessions
Ongoing sessions
The work. Fortnightly suits most people because the gap is where it actually happens — you need matches in between.
Coaches and referees
The same work, for the two groups nobody offers it to. Referees in particular are managing sustained public abuse as a normal condition of employment.
Team workshop
Half a day with a squad, and the only format where I am working for the club rather than for an individual — which changes what I can and cannot do, so it is said out loud at the start.
