Ages · 11 to 12 years
Sub-12
The age when children start deciding for themselves whether they like football. Our job is mostly not to ruin it.
One full session, free, before you pay anything.
When
- Tuesday 18:30–20:00 Campo Norte Full
- Thursday 18:30–20:00 Campo Norte 5 left
- Saturday 09:30–11:00 Ribeira 7 left
What a session looks like
- Proper sessions with a theme, and games that make the theme necessary
- Everybody plays the same amount in fixtures. Everybody, every week
- The first year we talk to children about positions rather than assigning them
- Ninety minutes
What to bring
Boots, shin pads, a drink, and a long-sleeved layer between November and February. The stand at Campo Norte is covered and still freezing.
Tuesday is full. The waiting list moves most months and we will tell you honestly where you are on it.

Sub-8
Mostly games. Very little queuing, no drills that involve standing in a line, and nobody is sorted by ability.
9 to 10 yearsSub-10
Games, plus the beginning of actually being coached. Still no selection and still mixed ability.
13 to 16 yearsSub-16
The age most schools lose children, usually because it stops being fun and starts being an audition. It is not one here.
