3. How we use your information
- to create and manage your account and provide access to products you purchase;
- to process payments, deliver digital products, and provide customer support;
- to record the license granted to you at the time of purchase;
- to send transactional messages (receipts, download links, account notices);
- to send marketing emails where you have opted in or where otherwise permitted — you can unsubscribe at any time;
- to measure and improve the Service, understand how it is used, and develop new products;
- to show and measure advertising, including remarketing to people who have visited the site (see Section 5);
- to detect, prevent and address fraud, abuse, and security issues;
- to comply with our legal obligations and enforce our terms.
4. Legal bases for processing (EEA / UK)
If you are in the EEA or UK, we rely on the following legal bases:
- Contract — to provide the products and services you request and manage your account.
- Legitimate interests — to secure, improve and market our Service, where those interests are not overridden by your rights.
- Consent — for non-essential cookies, advertising/analytics technologies, and optional marketing; you may withdraw consent at any time.
- Legal obligation — to comply with tax, accounting and other laws.
5. Cookies, analytics and advertising
We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the site, remember your preferences, measure traffic, and deliver and measure advertising. Full details, including categories and how to control them, are in our Cookie Policy.
We may use the following types of third-party providers:
- Payments — Stripe, Inc., to process purchases securely.
- Analytics — for example Google Analytics, to understand how the site is used.
- Advertising — for example Google Ads and Meta (Facebook / Instagram) advertising tools, including pixels and tags, to measure campaigns and show relevant ads, including remarketing.
- Email — an email service provider to send transactional and marketing messages.
Where required by law, we load advertising and non-essential analytics technologies only after you consent. You can opt out of personalized advertising through Google Ad Settings, your Meta ad preferences, and tools such as YourAdChoices.
6. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information for money. We share it only as follows:
- Service providers who process data on our behalf (payments, hosting, analytics, advertising, email), under contracts that require them to protect it;
- Advertising and analytics partners, which may involve sharing online identifiers as described in Section 5 — this may be considered a “sale” or “sharing” under some US state laws (see Section 9);
- Legal and safety — when required by law, legal process, or to protect our rights, users, or the public;
- Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets.
7. International transfers
We are based in the United States, and our providers may process data in the United States and other countries. Where we transfer personal data from the EEA or UK, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses, or another lawful transfer mechanism.
8. Data retention
We keep personal information for as long as needed to provide the Service and for legitimate business or legal purposes — for example, we retain order, license and tax records for the period required by law. When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.
9. Your rights
EEA / UK (GDPR)
You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing of your personal data, to data portability, and to withdraw consent. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.
California and other US states (CCPA / CPRA and similar)
Depending on your state, you may have the right to know what personal information we collect, to access or delete it, to correct it, and to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information and targeted advertising. We do not sell personal information for money, and we do not knowingly sell the data of anyone under 16. To opt out of sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising, adjust your cookie/consent choices or contact us.
To exercise any right, email fadi@fd-sol.com. We will verify your request and respond within the time required by applicable law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
10. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical and organizational measures to protect personal information, including encryption in transit, access controls, and storing passwords in hashed form. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
12. Marketing communications
You can opt out of marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in each email or by contacting us. We will still send essential transactional messages related to your account and purchases.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will revise the effective date above and, for material changes, provide additional notice where appropriate.
