Arabic & RTL localisation

Not a translation bolted onto an English layout.

Most Arabic versions of Western software are visibly an afterthought: mirrored layouts that break, English typography stretched around Arabic script, and numbers running the wrong way.

We build both directions as first-class from the start, because we work in both languages daily. This site is itself an example — every page exists in both, and neither reads like a translation.

What it covers

  • Right-to-left layouts built with logical properties, not mirrored hacks
  • Arabic typography with typefaces chosen for screen reading
  • Correct handling of numbers, dates, currency and mixed-script text
  • Content structured so both languages stay editable in one place
  • Translation of interface copy, not machine output
